Greetings,
my name is James Adams and I am from Manchester, KY. I graduated
from Clay County High School in 1999. I am a senior music education
major and my primary instrument is euphonium. My musical career began in
fifth grade when I started playing the trumpet. In seventh grade I began
playing the euphonium and have
been doing so ever since. Over the years I have also developed an
interest in music theory, arranging, and music technology.
I am enthusiastically involved in numerous
performing groups including the EKU symphonic band, marching band, pep
band, concert band, brass ensemble, tuba ensemble, Kentucky
Intercollegiate band, and Lexington brass band. Someday, I would like to
be a high school or middle school music educator so I
can have the opportunity to provide students with a positive musical experience and share
my passion for music with future generations of students. |
