Jamie Wallin
Jamie is a Senior English major from Winchester, KY who hopes to graduate in the Spring of 2008 with a concentration in Creative Writing. When not at school or working as a cashier, she?s usually found near the computer surfing MySpace or Facebook, crafting her next masterpiece, or hanging out with her family and friends. Her favorite genres to read/write include: poetry, short fiction, and creative nonfiction.

Jonathan Adams
Jon is a senior from London, Kentucky; his major is English with an emphasis in technical writing. When not working part-time at the local AutoZone, he can be found working on his cars, enjoying the outdoors or playing on the computer. Jon hopes to graduate in Spring of '08.

Kenneth Harris
Kenneth is an English major at Eastern Kentucky University with an emphasis on Creative and Technical Writing. He partakes in various forms of written fiction; his goal is to work with scripts and screenplays. After graduating from EKU, Kenneth plans to attend the University of Southern California for graduate school.

Kyle Parrett
Kyle is an English: Technical Writing major who will be graduating in December 2007. After graduating, he plans to enroll as a graduate student at EKU studying linguistics until he can get accepted into law school. He is twenty-three years old; he currently resides in London, KY.

Brandy Wood
Brandy is a 24 year old senior technical writing major who is graduating in spring 2008. She works for ACS in Lexington as a technical writer. When not working or studying, she enjoys kicking the soccer ball around on the field with her 6 year old son.

Gracious Brown
Gracious is a senior English Major, with a Creative Writing emphasis, from Lexington, Ky. She transferred from Kentucky State University in pursuit of a degree in Business. She changed her major to English after being encouraged to expand her creative writing abilities and interests in World Literature. She has an amazing son and wonderful husband. Her goal is to earn enough money to support an early retirement so her family can take long vacations in Italy.

Elizabeth Campbell
Elizabeth is a senior at Eastern Kentucky University, but is originally from Georgetown, Kentucky. She is majoring in English with an Emphasis in Technical Writing and has a minor in Journalism. She hopes to go on to graduate school to acquire a Ph.D. in English, most likely focusing on Composition or American Literature. Becoming a college professor has been a goal of Elizabeth's for quite some time. Her passion lies in encouraging others to express themselves through writing and expressing her own ideals through scholarly notes.

Joe Ryan
Joe is a Junior at EKU studying English and Journalism with plans of going to University of Kentucky Law School in Fall of 2009. He enjoys writing and reading personal essays and science fiction in his free time as well as being an active member in his fraternity.

Matthew Brumfield
As part of his cunning plan to escape his job as a 'loyal' wage-slave of an undisclosed retail hive mind, Matthew Brumfield is chasing a Bachelor's in English (with emphasis on the Creative Writing part). Although the Bachelor's Degree is an elusive quarry, Matt is happy to report that he has sighted the beast and is catching up to it.

Shelly Harris
Shelly is an English major with an emphasis on Creative Writing and Technical Writing. She loves working with children and aspires to write children's fiction in the future.

Keith Robinson
Keith is a very non-traditional student who is graduating this fall with a B.A. in Creative Writing. He hopes to use his life experiences to promote and generate his writing. After visiting 17 different countries while serving in the U.S. Navy, he feels good to be nestled back in the Eastern Kentucky hills. He hopes to get a Master's degree and end up being an instructor at E.K.U.

Travis Reynolds
Travis is an editor for Aurora Online this semester. He is an English major intending to become a career author and or magazine news writer. Travis is a kickboxer and graphic artist by hobby.

Joshua McIntosh
Josh is currently a Senior creative writing major and this is his last semester. He has been in school for six years and plans to go to Japan in the near future to teach conversational English. Josh has been acting as the Managing Editor for Aurora Online Magazine and has high expectations for this year's Aurora team.

Mary Burkybile
Mary Burkybile is a senior creative writing major who likes to travel, read, write, and cook. She lives in Lexington with her husband and a cat. After graduating Mary plans to take a semester off and travel in the United Kingdom and Europe. Graduate school might be in the future.

Aaron Phelps
Aaron is a senior creative writing major graduating in fall '07. He enjoys writing short fiction and screenplays. Currently he is working on an ongoing sci-fi graphic novel and a short film series that parodies L.A.R.P.ers. After graduating he plans to work with the Americorps.

Kharmin Slone
Kharmin is a senior technical writing major. She hopes to graduate alongside her husband in Spring 2008. She plans to stay at Exstream Software, her internship, as a long-term employee. Although she loves tech writing and going to school, her ultimate career goal is to be a Homemaker and Mother. You'll often see her trotting around campus with a smoothie in one hand, and an iPod in the other.
